Most of these beaches allow fishing, beach sports and water sports. One can hire beach chairs, picnic tables, and umbrellas if necessary. Shower facilities, rest rooms, and shelters are very conveniently located to give you a great time. Water sport rentals are also available.

Amusement park / Arcade Game Works located at Sunset Place guarantee the ultimate gaming experience for both the young and the old. This place is run under the direction of the great Hollywood Director Steven Spielberg. Game Works covers about 31000 sq ft of space, and has a huge variety of games. It has the latest state-of-the-art entertainment like virtual reality and other games for all ages. Entrance into the park is free. To play games at Game Works one has to buy a game card. Game cards are available at 5 dollars and increments of 5 dollars.

The other attractive amusement is Miami Skylift, which gives a guided helium balloon ride. The Huge Balloon goes up to 400 feet above the ground, and can accommodate up to 30 passengers at a time.

Those who want to get the real experience of driving a speeding race car can get it at Richard Petty Driving Experience , which is located at the Miami-Hampstead Speedway.

Tropical fun Center is an award winning miniature golf center in Miami and the only one of its kind.

Miami attracts thousands of music and dance lovers to its Ultra Music festival. The festival has fire shows and is well known for its beat dance and music. Tickets can be booked in advance for the festival. Bang! Music Festival is a day long annual diverse music festival that has made a comeback to Miami, and features 50 big bands including Duran Duran. The venue for the festival is the sprawling Miami Bicentennial Park.

Just south of Miami (thirty miles from downtown Miami) is the Biscayne National Park that has an area of 181000 acres, and houses America’s biggest barrier islands, and coral reefs.

Miami is a center for arts, and is studded with many art galleries and museums. The Miami Ballet, Miami International Film Festival , and other performing theatres are also very active. Recently a 255 million dollar Art Performance Center has opened at downtown Miami.
